I would like to express my experience as a model through the help of Apex Studios. October 14, 2022, was the date I started my journey and everything changed. After receiving all of my materials from Apex Studios, I accomplished a lot. At first, I promised myself that I wouldn’t do any runway shows thinking that I didn’t have what it took. But that changed as I went for a photoshoot that ended up being a runway audition, my first one as a matter of fact. I didn’t make the cut due to the fact that I stumbled, but I kept going to finish the audition in front of the panel. I was told that I didn’t qualify and I will say that I was disappointed but I realized that I hadn’t prepared myself. Then something surprising happened three days later. I got a phone call from the owner of Strike a Pose. A sponsor called and requested me to be part of the show. They explained to me that in all the 10 years of running their business, they never had a sponsor call to request a model. I was honored and surprised that they wanted me in their show. I started planning my goals and one of them was to try to get into a talent agency. From May of 2023 to today, not even a complete year, I have done a total of 4 photoshoots, 3 Ambassador events, 1 documentary, a cover page for Matilda International Magazine, a fundraiser for Autism in Baltimore, Md., and 4 runway shows. I landed a runway show for Baltimore’s Fashion Week for August of this year. I also got picked to be a Barbizon Fashion Model which will broaden my skills further. It is not an easy task but with hard work and sticking to it you can accomplish anything if you put your mind to it and not give up. Be determined. I look forward to excelling further as a Barbizon model. I thank Apex Studios for their guidance to my success.
